Dear members of the community,

Omaha is a unique and dynamic community with tremendous potential for growth. I have spent over 30 years committed to making our community better. For our community to grow, it requires a mayor who understands the dynamics of our city and the neighborhoods that reside within it. In addition to city government and city services, the mayor must have the experience and proven ability to create jobs and improve the economic and general well-being of our community through such areas as economic development, education, public safety, taxes and an influential presence in state government. As mayor, I will use the knowledge and experiences I have in these areas and others to move the city forward in ways that will sustain and improve the economic and general well-being of our community.
